Installation Steps
- Plan your run — measure roofline perimeters, decide zones
- Mount channels — screw aluminum channels under roofline/eaves
- Place strips — inside channels, adhesive + clips
- Run wiring — controller in garage, strips to each zone
- Waterproof — silicone ends/joins, seal connectors
- Configure WLED — zones as segments, timed presets
- Schedule — warm white sunset-midnight, colors for holidays
Pro Tips
- Use 12V WS2815 for rooflines (easier injection, backup data line)
- Leave expansion gaps (5mm every 5m) for temperature changes
- UV-resistant silicone channel diffuser prevents yellowing
- GFCI protected circuit for outdoor power supply
- Test each section before final mounting
